Restaurateur Faz expanding to San Jose—The Mercury News
Longtime restaurateur Faz Poursohi is finally coming to San Jose.
He is perhaps the Bay Area’s best-known Persian restaurateur, and he’s branching out — again.
Danville’s Faz Poursohi has been part of the scene since 1981, when he was recruited to become the executive chef of MacArthur Park in Palo Alto. He has since launched eponymous restaurants in Danville (1991), Sunnyvale (1996), Pleasanton (1997) and, most recently, Oakland (2011). Along the way, he and a partner also bought MacArthur Park.
